Praxis II: Reflection on Showcase
My Praxis II Team at Showcase, April 2013
Overview: This was the final stage of our semester-long design project. We presented our design to two assessors as well as the general public.

Process in Action: Showcase was the Communicate the Design stage of the design process. The deliverables were an abstract, poster, and prototype:
We gave a 15-20 minute presentation to our assessors, who then questioned us on our design. The main issues they found with our design were the following:
Overall, the Showcase went well, and the Praxis II Design Project enabled me to practice all steps of the design process.

- how gear shifting could be easily used with the new bicycle handlebar
- the reaction time it would take a user to move from gripping the upright handlebars to moving his hand to the lever brakes.
